13" Audubon Singing Bird Clock
13" Audubon Singing Bird Clock Features:
- Electric Eye senses darkness and shuts off sounds at night
- Each hour plays the authentic song of a different one of the 12 most popular North American birds
12 of the most popular North American birds are featured on this 13" Audubon Singing Bird Clock framed in Green Matte. Each hour is announced by the beautiful song of that particular bird—a different song every hour. Light sensor deactivates the sounds when the room is dark. Officially licensed by the National Audubon Society.
The Audubon Singing Bird Clock sings it's heart out, every hour on the hour. 12 favorite bird songs starting with the Summer Tanager, Song Sparrow, Veery, American Goldfinch, Brown Thrasher, Blue Grosbeak, Eastern Meadowlark, Common Yellow throat, Wood Thrush, Red-Winged Blackbird, Yellow Warbler, and the Eastern Bluebird. Packaging provides information on the areas of the country the birds are most prominent and their feeding habits. A light sensor turns off the songs at night and back on at dawn. Large 13" diameter quartz clock has beautiful Hunter green rim. Each bird song chirps & warbles for about 12 seconds. Requires 3 AA batteries. Be the first to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Audubon Society. Beautiful Images! Beautiful Bird Songs.

Cooler than you'd think!

And LASTS FOREVER!!! We bought one of these in 1998 and it is still going strong!! Everyone loves and/or is entertained by the bird sounds. They often think the bird is in the house somewhere. A good conversation piece and very interesting and pretty bird sounds. I never tired of it, and I didn't really want the clock to begin with. My cockatiel is totally entertained by many of the bird recordings on it. Some he feels the need to challenge!

We purchased two of these clocks to use in our physical therapy office. It's a gentle reminder to our staff that the hour is upon us. The patient's enjoy the chirping of the birds and the staff as well.
