Cat Scratcher

My cats love this. I bought it when they were just a few months old, and they are now 10 months old and still play with it every day. In fact, if they are getting into something they shouldn't be getting into, I distract them by rolling the ball on the track and they will run in and start playing with it. They also use the scratcher regularly, and I routinely sprinkle it with catnip. I definitely got my money's worth with this one.

Turbo Cat Scratcher

I have had this cat scratcher for at least 10 years, and all 3 cats i've owned during that time have loved it. My 2 cats I have now are 13 and 15, and both still play with it daily. I have tried many other types of scratch posts and even other cardboard pads like this one, and none of them have held any of my cats' interests at all. One of my cats still has claws, she uses the scratch pad in the middle. My other cat is front declawed and plays with the ball in the track. So all aspects of the toy get used! LOL It has really helped keep my furniture scratch free, and has provided hours of entertainment, for both my cats and myself watching them go crazy with it. The cardboard insert is very inexpensive and easy to replace. A good tip to get a new cat introduced to the toy is to sprinkle a little catnip on the cardboard. Works like a charm! As the cardboard gets well used it will tend to shred off and you'll have to pick up the little pieces, but it's worth it to save your furniture!
