You can chop on these then bend them to pour into whatever dish you're making. Plus, the multiple set allows you to chop veggies, meat, chocolate, etc. and not have to clean or worry about cross contamination. They easily fit into the dishwasher. Best purchase for the kitchen.

I really like these mats. I had been looking for color coded cutting boards to separate my chopping when I found these mats. I like that I don't have to wash my cutting board in between cutting meat and veggies for the same meal. That is a great convenience. The pictures on the mat are an added bonus - I'm never going to forget what color is for what. I also like clean-up - I just toss them into the dishwasher. These bright coloured mats are perfect. Love the weight and thickness of them and the colours help me find them on a granite counter top where the clear ones tend to disappear. Having the meat, fish, veggie icons on them helps keep the mats separate for different purposes. They clean up quickly and thoroughly and don't cut easily.

Better than cutting board. Easier to clean and store.

We saw mats like this on a Food Network show and we liked the thought of using these. We have designated one for any meat cutting so it is always the same mat. These are great - just put them on the counter and go. These chopping maps a great when you are doing lots of preperation work or when trying to avoid cross contamination with foods.

These are just wonderful for all your chopping needs. They wash up so well and I have never detected any type of odor from all the many veggies and meats I have used on them. I think anyone will enjoy these. Easy to store away next to my cookie sheets (standing on end). Wash up easy in dishwasher. Daily necessity in my kitchen!
