Alden GRABIT Screw EXTRACTOR

Remove damaged screw heads and extract free spinning screws with GRABIT! No other screw extractor removes damaged heads AND extracts free spinning screws. Remove rusted screws, free-spinning screws, deck screws and other damaged screws easily with the Alden Grabit.

Single Tool Fits Power Drills
The Grabit is a drill and extractor in one tool that removes screws with any type of damaged screw head, from any material. The Grabit is easy to use with 3/8" variable speed reversible drill. No more guesswork in matching drill size with extractor, as with manual tools. Grabit's quick connect chuck capability increases its ease of use. Simply drill, then flip and extract.

No Drill "Walking" or "Wandering"
Special machinery is used to impart a self-centering Winslow tip on the Grabit, which prevents drill "walking" or "wandering". This self centering feature of the Grabit also permits dynamic adjustment of the drilling angle to keep the tool on-center.

Stripped Screw Extractor

Tough Torque Really Works
The Grabit has deep, serrated edges on the extraction end of the tool, which are capable of biting into a damaged screw without slipping. A high degree of torque is applied to the screw to overcome even the greater resistance found in rusted screws, screws as long as 4 inches and screws in hard wood. Free spinning screws may also be removed with the Grabit.

This product saved my life. I recently spent an entire weekend refurbishing a chest of drawers for my infant son's room. My wife and I painstakingly handpainted animals on each of the drawers and when it came time to attach the knobs that we had bought, we discovered why they had been so cheap, the screws were awful! They were so soft they stripped in seconds. With a screw stripped and lodged halfway into an inch and a half of wood, I thought the whole project was ruined. Using the grabit bit, I fixed the situation in about 10 seconds! If it wasn't for Grabit, I would have had to scrap the whole project!

I have tried every generic product on the market. All of them were not worth the time or $. I decided to try the Grabit. It works FLAWLESSLY. Don't be fooled by any other reviews. I am not the handiest handyman on the block and the Grabit was the easiest tool to use. I was sooooooooooooooo relieved when it worked! Grabit, buy it, use it, love it...

I've been using these for more than a year now with many different projects. I love them. It takes a little work sometimes and you have to switch between the extractors to find the right one to take out your screw but once you find it, the job is a snap. It can be frustrating that the screws don't come out right away but it only takes a little extra effort with these extractors. I'd recommend these to everyone.
