I already owned a pair of these and love them. A definite must have for the winter months. I am a college student and had experienced an ice storm or two without classes canceled. I walked clear across campus and did not slip once. Remember to take them off when you get to a tiles floor because you will slip.

Snow and Ice Cleats

I bought these for ice fishing, but have been unable to go. We recently had freezing rain and our driveway is like an ice rink. They worked just great. They make all the difference in being outside and feeling secure with treacherous conditions underfoot. Great traction and confidence!

Ice Traction Slip-Ons

In Oklahoma, we get more ice and freezing rain than snow. The ice traction slip-ons have been an invaluable asset when walking on sheets of ice in parking lots, sidewalks or even on slopes! I had taken along my ice cleats rolled up in a sandwich size baggie when I visited relatives in the recent Iowa ice storm (2/07). They all skidded around, but I got to help them because I could walk with confidence wearing my cleats! I'm ordering the cleats for them now. If you live where ice is a problem, you need these great little inventions. By the way, I own the "men's shoes/boots sizes 8-12, and they fit well over my women's size 7 shoe!
