| This vendor fulfilled every promise. The merchandise arrived in a timely manner and undamaged. The door guard was easy to assemble and has eliminated all drafts entering our living room. Unfortuately it does not stay attached to the front door when used. It falls to the hardwood floor when the door passes over the threshold, unlike the advertisement stating that it stays in place even when it passes over carpet. At first we were replacing it constantly but we now remove it after the first use, set aside and replace it in the evening when the air is cooler. In closing, the vendor performance was excellent but the performance of the Draft Guard is less than excellent. |

| I've bought other draft stoppers for more money that were filled with sand or stuffed. They were either not wide enough or the sand would pour out when you moved it. I love the fact that this is a lightweight, yet form hugging draft stopper, that you can move if necessary. It seems to block the cool air from our basement really well. I recommend this to anyone. |

Installing twin draft guard lets you keep the heat in and the cold out. All you need to do is slide it under the door. Even a kid could install it. With the air tight twin draft guard, both sides of your door are sealed. All you need to do is cut the inserts to door size, and slip it into the cover. This great Twin Draft Guard glides over all kind of floors.
In addition you can wash twin draft guard with a machine. You can use it on both interior or exterior doors. This insulating miracle is twice as effective. You don’t need to bend or reposition since twin draft guard moves with the door. Just fit it once and that is all you need. |

This fit and worked well on my standard sized front door, a little loose, but still moved over the carpet acceptably as the door opened and closed. I kept it on the door for two years and got benefit from retaining heat and AC, but the part that faced outside got so dirty, I didn't even want to remove it for cleaning. Over time the foam worked its way out of the cover and the fabric tube seemed to bunch up more and more.
Solution: I got a storm door. Still, I have to admit I probably could have increased the life of this thing through regular removal for thorough cleaning and re-installation. I can't complain too much about it since it did keep out the drafts and saved me money over the time I used it, but it isn't the 'final solution'. I had tried the `door snake' previously and found moving it each time I used the door way too much of a hassle. This product was far better in that respect. It may not be perfect, but it does help with the heating/cooling bill. |

| Yup, I have one and it's a great solution for the door that leads up to my attic. I used the draft guard to replace the rolled up towel I had been using to block the cold/hot air that seeps under the door (It's old, doesn't fit well enough at the bottom). It blocks the air better than the towel and since we go to the attic a lot to fetch or put something in storage, I no longer have to nag my boyfriend about fixing the stupid towel when he's done. So win/win. |

Overall I am very happy with this product. It works great with my standard 1-3/4″ wide door that has a gap of no more than 1/4″. The brown color doesn’t show the dirt and it is easy to throw in the wash.
If you have a standard size front door, this should fit with no adaptations. If you have any problems with this fitting, all you do it resize the foam inside and instructions are included. |

Particularly good for people not wanting to tackle the challenge of installing a permanent door sweep, the Hampton Direct Twin Draft Guard is quicker to install than a door sweep, and easier to use than a conventional draft dodger (draft snake). To install the Twin Draft Guard, simply cut the two sets of included foam tubes to the needed length, insert into the two connected fabric sleeves, and slide under the door.
When the door is closed, with a foam tube on either side of the door, air infiltration/exfiltratrion beneath the door will be reduced. When the door is opened and closed, unlike individual draft dodgers that need to be respositioned, the Twin Draft Guard will stay with the door, gliding easily over the floor.
The length of the Twin Draft Guard is 35 inches long, and may be easily cut to fit smaller doors. The diameter of the foam tubes is 1.5 inches. It is machine washable, and suitable for use over carpet, wood, tile, or linoleum floors. The color is brown. |

| A word of caution to older home owners......My house was built in the early 1900's and my doors are higher off the ground than newer homes. Therefore, my Twin Draft Guards do not work at all because the door simply opens right over the top of the tubes. I can see however, that these would work great if your doors are closer to your floors. |

| Twin Draft Guard is made pretty cheaply with it's thin material and styrofoam tubes, but it seems to work really well. It seals an air-tight excellent grade A and closes the door. Door snakes or pillows that you put in front of your drafty door often need constant adjustment, but the Twin Draft Guard moves with the door instead, so you don't have to readjust anything. |

A lot of infomercial scams hype up a product that is not worth investing anything into, however, the Twin Draft Guard really has saved me energy costs. I haven’t seen a 30% decrease, but a realistic 8-10% I’m sure of.
Even if you save just 5$ a month using the Twin Draft Guard every month, it will pay for its self in 3 months and after that its like getting an extra 5$ a month. The Twin Draft Guard is a good long term investment for any homeowner.
I encourage you to invest into your future savings by purchasing the Twin Draft Guard. You won’t regret it, I sure didn’t. |

| I was a little apprehensive about buying these Twin Draft Guard Insulating Device because the door to our garage opens onto a carpeted area but as snug as the fit is, the door glides smoothly. I love the fact that there are two guards as I used one on the bottom and top of the door, really closing off the draft that used to come in from the garage. Make sure to purchase 2, once for top and 1 for bottom of your door or window. |

| The back entry into our kitchen was always freezing in the winter because of the space under the door. This Twin Draft Guard product did the trick! In the warmer months, I've also seen fewer "critters" as a result of blocking that space. When there are enough little projects to call a handyman, the threshold will be built up, but until then this is an inexpensive fix. There is no question that we saved money on our heating bill, and the kitchen was more comfortable. Thank you Twin Draft Guard. |

| Great product! Sure beats the towels we used to use. One comment for those not measurement savy - the spec on this site says it fits a 2" wide door that is 35" long. I am sure the majority of readers (but maybe not all) realize that this product accommodates doors that are 2" THICK and 35" WIDE. Somebody at ASOTVG.com needs to edit this data. |

I purchased these Twin Draft Guard Draft Stopper a 1 year ago to help eliminate terribly drafty doors in my home. With these Twin Draft Guard Draft Stopper, we not only save ourselves from wasting money heating the outdoors, but my children are able to play on the floor without having cold air on them.
About 6 months ago, after remembering the guards at my front and back doors, a relative purchased a set for her apartment. It helps her eliminate cold air coming through the door and the horrible odor of cigarette smoke coming from across the hall invading her dwelling. We know second hand smoke is not only loathesome to many people, but it is also dangerous. As a two time cancer survivor, this is important to her...and all of us.
These Twin Draft Guards Draft Stopper also prevent the smell of food being cooked nearby - yours or someone else's - from encroaching upon personal space.
Today this relative told me she is buying a set for a neighbor in her apartment building who suffers from emphazema. There is a long term construction project going on near their building. With all of the dust from the blasting & trucks going by, he is having a difficult time breathing even with treatments using his oxygen tank.
This SIMPLE, but POWERFUL tool can be used successfully in many situations. No matter if you are in a cold climate, dusty environment, noisy area, ETC, these Twin Draft Guard Draft Stopper make life better for many people.
They are extremely easy to use. The guards can be easily cut if necessary to fit any door. Because they stay put, you don't have to worry about readjusting them no matter how much you open and close your door(s). |

| Twin Draft Guard product in it's simplicity is brilliant. But before you buy, the intended door must have an opening of no greater than about 1/4 inch above the floor. Anything greater than that and the foam roll tends to get sucked underneath and either comes off or jams under the door. The other thing I think you should avoid, is doors over carpeted floors. This makes it more likely to cause the thing to just get stuck under the door and not glide like the commercial shows. If it was made of a more slick fabric and my door was lower it would work great. If you meet the requirements then Twin Draft Guard could be great for you. |

I have owned this type of product for 2 years. It has done it's purpose and has eliminated air draft and insect entry from my two french doors leading in from our patio area that is covered.
Our home was damaged from Hurricane Ike and also from a water pipe leak while away from evacuation of Hurricane Gustav. They were damaged and need to be replaced. Wonderful product. These are better than the ones I originally purchased from ABC distrubiting. Higher quality. |

| I bought this Draft Guard because my neighbors in my apartment building smoke (ugh!). The smell was really gross, however, I haven't had any problems with the smell since I got the draft guard! Sometimes it's a little bit of a pain because it will get caught on the door when you open it too far, however, the benefits outweigh the downsides. I definitely suggest this item! |

| Using this on the door to my garage. There was a half inch space under the door letting in quite a bit of cold air during the winter. After installing the Twin Draft Guard it cut the draft down to about zero. The only problem was the rug on the inside of the door. It was about a foot from the door and when i would open it the Twin Draft Guard would get stuck. I had to move the rug so the Twin Draft Guard would start on top of it, which was not a huge deal. |

| If you are looking for a way to keep your house warmer in the winter or cooler in the summer, this is a good solution that will quickly remedy the problem of drafts under the front door. It may also help in windy rainstorms where water is likely to find its way under the door. Within a day after putting this under the front door, I noticed the house staying much warmer and now my home is cozy warm. If you have a standard size front door, this should fit with no adaptations. If you have any problems with this fitting, all you do it resize the foam inside and instructions are included. |
