I have found this to be the most convenient way for me to incorporate upper body exercise into my daily routine. I have used it with the dvd, however it's easier for me to just shake consistently on my own. I have one for home, and will now order another to keep at work. In 3 weeks (6min. 3x per day), I am seeing slightly firmer, shaped arms and shoulders, and believe me, my arms are rather large. Yes, the movement is slightly awkward, but any movement to muscles that are not regularly used will initially feel uncomfortable. Definitely feels better than the awful gym upper body machines. I love it!

In just the first day of using this shake weight, I could feel my muscles being stressed. However, I have only had this for 4 days, so no results yet.

I've been using the shake weight now for about a week and a half. I use it about 5 times a week and have felt a difference in my arms and chest. I've noticed toner arms and a difference in my chest muscles. So, for me it does work. The only bad thing is that once you have achieved a certain level you can't more weight. As a recommendation to improve and "maintain" tone I would recommend the item.

I admit I was one of those people who sent the Shake Weight video around as a joke to my friends the first time I saw it with the tagline: "Who the hell would actually buy this?!" I dismissed it as one of those stupid As Seen On TV products that are destined for landfills after a short-lived stint in some sucker's living room proved it a waste of plastic. Then I read a glowing review in a fitness magazine and I decided I had to give it a try. After three weeks, my arms are considerably stronger and more toned! My husband still makes fun of me when he sees me using it but I am enjoying my new muscular arms, so I guess I will have the last laugh! I recommend this product, but advise you to take it easy during the Shoulder Press exercise. If you feel pain in your shoulder - STOP and save yourself a serious rotator cuff injury!

I work out at the gym on a machine that works these same muscle's and this is great for doing the same targeting area at a LOT cheaper price. I would highly recommend Shake Weight to anyone.
