I would very much recommend this item, it is extremely sturdy. I was nervous when i first started using it because i thought the drywall would be destroyed but it is very safe. It is much better than the P90X bar because its cheaper and of same or better quality. It is worth the extra money to get the extreme over the regular iron gym. I am pleased with my purchase.

I am impressed by how sturdy the bar actually is in the door way. I admit, I was a little skeptical at first but I was completely proven wrong. If you are one that disagrees, you could be a fool that cant either assemble or place this equipment correctly-- because it really is as simple as they say it is (on TV). My one criticism towards this piece of equipment is the positioning of the sit-ups so far I am having a difficult time implementing the bar in the door way to be sturdy enough to do the sit-ups.

The Iron Gym Xtreme is made of high strength materials. I searched and tested many home chinup bars and this one trumps them all. Iron Gym Xtreme is great product. It does the job and is so diverse in what workouts you can do. Good for your reverse chin ups, close grip, wide grip, standard, and many more. Easy to place in any doorway holds me up and up to 300lbs max which is good. I have the p90 x chin up bar also but this one feels like well built.
