Magic Jack As Seen On TV is a small device that you can plug into your home computer that allows you to have home phone service that calls anywhere in the United States or Canada. You simply plug your home phone into the device and plug the device into your computer. MagicJack gives you unlimited calls to anywhere in the United States and Canada for one monthly price. In order for the Magic Jack to operate, customers must have a high speed internet connection.
Currently customers are not able to keep their existing phone number when signing up for use of the Magic Jack As Seen On TV. The telephone number through MagicJack also will not be added to the telephone directory and customers do not have the option to add it. The Magic Jack connection time is comparable to that of a traditional phone call from a landline. When placing calls to other Magic Jack users, the connection time is much faster. MagicJack was named PC Magazine Editors Choice in January of 2008 and the 2009 Product of the Year by TMC Communications Solutions.

The magicJack includes a free 30-day trial. At the end of the trial period, the service costs $39.95 which covers one year of service. Included are the standard features as well as local and long distance calling throughout the United States and Canada.
