Leather Repair Kit

I was absolutely thrilled with the results I achieved using the leather repair kit! Colors were easy to match and looked wonderful when the job was completed! The only thing I would suggest...where possible, mask the area to be repaired and carefully apply your home iron at its hottest temperature to the grain paper to heat cure the product. Much better result than the heat transfer tool! Excellent product!

This was easy to use. I had a cut in a leather sofa and now you can't see it. I can feel where it was, a short hard place but all and all a good item for the job.

It's just exactly what it was described as. Your basic vinyl/leather patch kit. If you do it right, it works. I recommend several thin coats to do the job. Don't do it right and you will be disappointed. Read the directions and then follow them.

They need to tell you in the description of the product that this kit is only ideal for patch work to be done on a flat surface repair. It does not work very well with a seem repair between two cushions. Overall, I am very happy and would purchase from tv guys again.

We needed to have an old leather case repaired on the corners...did not know where to take it, i used this product and it is fabulous. It did an excellent job and you can hardly tell where I repaired it. It took 2 coats drying overnight, don't be in a hurry and you will be pleased and although the product information does not tell you..it is cleaned up with water...very good product and very reasonable price and came in 2 days.

This product is very easy to use and works great. After repairing a scooter seat, could not tell that it had ever been torn after using this product!!!! Would highly recommend!!!!!

My product arrived quickly. I had a tear in my motorcycle seat and thought I would try one of those little repair kits prior to spending a fortune on repair or replacement. To my utter amazement the thing worked as advertised. Don't know if it will do so in all cases, but it saved me hundreds of dollars.

I had a tear in my leather sofa (blame the dog!) and had read about this product in a design blog I follow. I rarely leave feedback for products, but I felt I needed to since I was almost dissuaded from purchasing it because of the inconsistent reviews. I just completed repairing the tear--which was about 1.5 inches long and went all the way through the leather--and it looks SO much better than I had anticipated. I have the dark brown leather Kramfors sofa from Ikea and no one would be able to tell there was a tear unless they knew exactly where to look, and even then they might not notice. I was able to mix the tinted filler compound to match the sofa exactly, but this might be a bit trickier for those with light or unusually colored fabrics; I think it could be done well, but it would take more time and patience when mixing the compound. I was also lucky in that the leather in the sofa has a grain, so it makes any imperfections leftover from the repair kit (or my application thereof) less noticeable.

I found this kit to work exactly as advertised. I used the product to repair 4 large tears and several small rips in an old vinyl covered sofa. The color mix kit worked well and the electric heating iron made the patches permanent and nearly invisible.

I had a leak on my guest air bed and, 36 hours after I fixed it with the repair kit I had two guest for a week that slept on it without any issue for now, it looks like it worked !

I was able to repair my shoes, couch, and carpet with this kit! I still have a few repairs to make with enough product left. I probably saved myself $300 by buying this kit.

I had been looking all over for this product. It used to be available a couple years ago in several stores in the automotive section. It's the only one I knop of to do "fabric" repair. My car has fabric that instantly melts a thru hole at the slightest sign of heat, in my case a cigarette ash. This product allowed me to make a pretty good repair easily. It can take a little playing with to get the right mix of colors but it's very easy to tweak your patch after the fact. For the price you can't go wrong as the only other option would be to buy seat covers or have the seat reupholstered.

I placed an order about a week ago and received my leather repair kit in a few days. I fixed my leather couch in a matter of minutes and saved a ton on having it repaired. I highly recommend trying this product.
