Good Product

I hear a lot of complaints about the Instyler company not properly refunding people's money or letting them return the item. That is why I suggest buying from a reseller of their product like Target or something. This website resells the Instyler for a decent price, and has a better return policy.

I got the InStyler Deluxe for Christmas this year and I love it! I have very curly hair, and when i first tryed straightening it with the InStyler, if you do little pieces of hair at a time, it works so so so well! My aunt tryed curling her hair with the InStyler, and it's also a great curler. But i recomend for curling, fliping, ect. that you watch the DVD it comes with or read the quick 2 page pamplet that shows you how to do lots of diferent styles.

The Original InStyler Rotating Hot Iron Hair Straightener
Anonymous (Unknown) 12/11/2009 10:01 AM
this is by far the best styling tool i have ever owned! It essentially a hair dryer, straightener and curler all in one. I just wash my hair, towel dry, put a little product in it, and style. The style stays pretty well until i wash it out, so i only have to style it after each wash. I have medium length, thin to medium hair thickness.

I have had this styler for about 6 months and I love it. I was skeptical at first, to say the least, but it has turned out to be my can't-live-without iron. I can style my shoulder length hair in 10 minutes, or less if I'm rushed, instead of 20 minutes with my other irons. I read through many web reviews before I bought it. Here are a few things that bothered people and my take on them: *It is loud - Since it has a motor, it is not silent like the infomercials imply. Although it is a bit noisy, it is not loud enough to bother me. *It burns - It does get HOT, even on the lowest setting and, yes, if you touch it you will get burned like with any other hair iron. You will probably get scorched a time or two or three..., as I did, especially when getting used to it. Be careful! *It only rotates in one direction - This is true and it takes time to get used to. I have learned to use both my left and right hands to straighten my hair in the direction of the rotation. I slowed down a segment in the infomercial and one model smoothed her hair against the rotation. It turned out great, so I guess it's okay but I haven't tried it myself. *It doesn't work on very short hair - This styler works wonders on my medium length hair but I cannot use it on my 2 inch long bangs. It makes them stick out weird. Based on that, I don't think those with very short hair would benefit from it unless they come out with a smaller barrel. *Hair gets stuck in the barrel - This has never happened to me and I use it almost every day. *Hair gets damaged - Most hot tools will cause some type of damage to hair. Although my hair does seem a little drier because I use the styler so often, my hairstylist says it is still healthy. I use conditioner and thermal spray to minimize damage. While not perfect, this is the best styler I've ever used, hence the 5 stars. I am even getting one for my sister.

i have been using this hot iron for a while now and let me tell you, this is the best hot iron i have ever used. before using this heaven sent hot iron, i used the round brush with the blow dyer, and let me tell you nothing compares to this hot iron. my curly thick hair comes out straight and the dry ends comes out so smooth. its unbelivable. just make sure your hair is about 99% dry before styling with it, it just works better and in the long run it will be better for your hair also. try it you will not be sorry, aloha.

instyler hair styling tool

I have baby fine hair and could never get any tool to give it body. This works. I had body and pretty shiny 67 year old hair the first time I used it. Have never been able to get the hang of a flat iron, but this rotating system is great. Only wish it had an area to hang on to on the other end for better control with my arthritic hands.

Love the product! I am 53 years old and have always wanted straight hair. Whenever I'd get a relaxer, my hair would only look good through one or two washes, then frizzy again!!! It took me about 15 minutes to get used to the InStyler, and my hair has never been this straight and BOUNCY.

Instyler Rotating Iron
Anonymous (Unknown) 10/23/2007 11:07 AM
Instyler is the best styling tool!. It is well worth it's price. I have thick, wavy , highlighted blonde hair and can style my hair in a fraction of the time any other flat iron or curling iron takes. Unlike some other reviewers, I found there was no learning curve- it's as easy to use as a traditional flat iron/curling iron. My hair turns out smooth and shiny, just as promised. I agree though, a little longer cord would be convenient. After using this, I will never use any other hot iron styling tool.
