We installed this under the deck on a covered porch area, when we come off the lake late at night and forgot to turn on the outdoor lights it gives enough light to see where you are going. We love it and it looks great. Excellent product, Nice quality , should hold up well. They go on about 6pm and off about 6am at sunrise.Always have a nice blue lite with no dimming.Looking forward to writing a review in a year. We have many solar lights for our home this one looks like a very good purchase
