Driveway Patrol is an infrared sensor that alerts you when someone crosses its path. When placed across the driveway or on your porch, a pleasant chime will sound alerting you that someone has come onto your property. Driveway Patrol's amazing wireless technology provides easy mobility: Simply place the sensor by the front door, garage, mailbox, or anywhere else near your home and the unit will send a signal to it's receiver (up to 400 feet away*)! With Driveway Patrols motion activation, you will always know when someone is coming up to your house before they ring the doorbell!

Installs easily without tools or wiring

It installs in seconds and no tools or wires are needed. When someone approaches, it sends a signal to alert you up to 400 foot range.  This wireless driveway alarm system employs advanced infrared motion detection technology. Use it to detect visitors, vehicles, intruders or kids coming and going. Use it anywhere in your home to monitor the mailbox, front door, garage or driveway. You'll never be surprised again!

Driveway Patrol Security Alarm System is weather resistant, installs easily with only a screwdriver, and only needs one 9 V and 3 "C" batteries, not included. When a visitor-wanted or unwanted, approaches a house on foot or in a vehicle the motion detecting sensor unit of this warning device sends a signal to the receiver indoors, which chimes an alert. The device is wireless and has a 400-foot range(Open Area Only). The sensor is housed in weather-resistant plastic, installs with a screw on any surface, such as a mailbox post, garage, or door, and measures 4-1/4 inches high, 2-5/8 inches wide, and 2-1/4 inches deep.

The portable receiver has an identical housing, can be set to chime high or low (or turned off), and measures 5 inches high, 3-5/8 inches wide, and 1-1/2 inches deep. Dimensions are approximate. Driveway Patrol receiver chime unit has 3 setting (Hi or Low and Off). To switch the unit ON, Select Hi or Low volume settings. Please ensure to place the PIR sensor at least three feet high above the ground. Receiver must be used indoors.

Just place the waterproof Driveway Patrol transmitter outside and put the receiver inside. Driveway Patrol is weather resistant, installs easily with only a screwdriver, and only needs one 9 V and 3 C batteries, not included. The Driveway Patrol motion detector notifier unit may also be used with a D.C. 4.5 volt connector instead of batteries. The Signal should be installed at a height of 4 feet to avoid feedback interference errors from the ground.

Important Note:

A) Whenever installing the PIR(Passive Infra-red Sensor) for the 1st time, the red LED on the PIR sensor will be on for 60 seconds and the chime unit will sound for about 60 seconds in order to stabilize the units 1st.

B) In some applications the motion detector may be too sensitive, resulting in false alerts. To remedy this situation, put masking tape or labels on each side of the sensor window. Start on the sides and add an equal length of masking tape or labels to each side. Test the detector and add more covering if needed. Keep the band as narrow as 1/8" wide or wider depending on individual situation. Some trial and error may be required to find the optimal width.
